Grease stain removal?
Question:I got some Taco Bell on the seat of my car--I tried shout wipes, but it didn't get out the grease mark. Any ideas for gentle cleaning? It's light grey cloth.
Answers:
I've heard that dish soap works for grease stains, since it's made to get grease off dishes. You might try scrubbing some in with a rough sponge and then wiping thoroughly with water.
Apply corn starch to area where the grease is and let it sit over night or longer . The corn starch will help absorb the grease . After that wash with Dawn dish soap and hot water to remove the rest of grease.
i use GOJO it's a hand cleaner for people who think grease stains are a sign of hard work.lever 2000 also make the same thing in a bar soap. basically if it clam to get motor oil off hands it should do the trick. apply cleaner to stain rub with a towel or tooth brush use clean water for a rinse it shouldn't take more then 2 applications.
