How to protect hands ?
Question:I do my dishes with my hand. I use a scrub and dawn dish liquid. I think my hands are loosing their softnes. How shd i prevent that? Should i start using gloves? What kind and where can i get them? Or shd i use some hand cream?

I buy rubber gloves at the grocery store. And use one set for houshold cleaning, and one for dishes only. Be sure to turn the edge up to make a cuff so water doesn't run up your arm.
I also buy some cotton gloves, and treat my hands to
handcream and follow with the pair of cotton gloves overnight. Use a light hand cream or lotion during the day, without gloves. Always dry your hands thoroughly when they become wet.
Gloves. YES!
I use Dawn to clean the Alloy Wheels on my Volvo. and it takes away all the Grime and Brake Dust!

Wear thick heavy duty gloves & always put cream on after you wear & wash your hands.
Gloves is the most efficient way to protect your hands. The hot water and the grease stripping properties of the dish soap will rob your hands of softness. If you don't like wearing the gloves while washing up then find a really good moisturizing cream and use it everytime after you get done doing the dishes.
You can use gloves. You could also rub your hands with a good moisturizer and putting on cotton gloves before you go to bed at night. They will be very soft the next morning.
u can wear gloves for dishes & put baby pwder inside b/c over time it won't b as soft & that helps u'r hands not to sweat.
But i had some reactions to the gloves but i did also to some dish soaps.
I use lotion. I keep a pump next to the sinks so every time I wash, I use it afterwards. Plus use some more stronger lotion at nt b/4 u sleep. That will help as well.. & i work w/ paint & wood sooo triple wammy..
I think you could get gloves at Wal-Mart. That will totally protect your hands
why not use some of the gloves like surgeons and drs wear you cna buy them at town..and also use some hand lotion after doing dishes... this works and keeps your hands from being in contact witht he soap..
use yellow dish gloves!!! and get a good lotion
