How to remove toothpaste from carpet??

Question:my child got in to the toothpaste while i was in the shower i tried to scrub a spot as soon as i found it but it foamed so bad it made it worse so i have let it dry and it is dry and hard any suggestions?

Answers:
You need to get it wet again and wipe as much as you can up with a towel. Get the rest up with a scrub brush and water. If you have a wet-vac use that as you go or dry it with a towel. Wet, scrub and dry repeat.
