My friend has bed bugs at her home?
Question:If my friend has bed bugs at her house, can she spred them to my house/car if she visits us. I know they can be carried in bags/suitcases I just mean just in person. Thanks

Maybe on her clothes but it is probably unlikely.
this si why their called bed...bugs..didnt know they could be transferred to other furniture..you best best and your friends is ..take the mattrresses outdoors on a very hot an sunny day and let them stay out all day..this will kill the bedbugs. bites from bedbugs isnt good..they can cause a severe infection.. you cna also hose them down with water..but the main thing is the sun and heat and also having air circulate through them for a day..

I don't think they will "hitch a ride". However, like the other person said, have your friend get some contractor size black garbage bags and put her mattresses in side and let them sit out in the sun... That should kill them and she should invest in a mattress protector.. I also vacuum my matress atleast once a month and I strip my sheets/blankets off my bed during the day so the mattress can dry and air out.. That also keeps the little devil away ..Best of luck...
