Does anyone know how, or if you can clean a filter for a pool.?
Question:It is the above ground kind. The filter is for a blow up pool. It is my daughters and she said the filters are getting costly. Anyone have any ideals? She has already tried the dishwasher, it didn't work.

Ofcourse you can clean the filter for a pool. You can eigther backwash your pool or ...take the filter out and take it apart and wrinse it out with o hose.
Assuming it is a cartridge filter (the most common for that type of pool), remove it from the filter, hose it off, then soak it in a cartidge cleaner solution (available at pool supply store or online), and let it soak according to label directions. (usually at least a few hours or overnight). Rinse well before putting it back in the filter...
