Does the IRobot scooba work as well as they say?

Yes it does. But it works best where there aren't a lot of obstructions. It can get stuck on high rugs and under sofas. Also, remember to clean the gunk out of it--it picks up a lot.
Also, it's a complicated piece of equipment--buy it from hammacher schlemmer catalog--everything they sell has a lifetime guarantee--you'll use it for sure. They are more expensive though but worth it.
Roomba and Scooba just keep getting better.
tell you what owning both the vaccuum and scrubber...i would most likely say yes...they make a wonderful product...can't see how the scooba would be any less
