THEY MAKE A SPRAY FOR FLIES AT THE FARM STORES
Spray little bit of WD-40 they hate the smell. May not be the best in the house but outside it works like a charm.
Be sure to not have any standing water around for the flies to lay eggs (same as mosquitos). From there we have an "electric tennish racket" which is really an electric fly swatter that kills flies, bees, skeeters, bats, most flying things, that do show up. We make sure that all of our screens are attached to the windows and have no holes!
Maybe you should try getting some screens for your windows and doors so the flies aren't coming in to begin with.
If you want you can invest in those purple lights that electrify the fly. They aren't very aesthetic but they work. If you want a cheaper route get those tape pieces that get the flies stuck on it.
Every time I let my dog in at night a fleet of bugs follow her. I leave one hot bulb burning in the kitchen (where the backdoor is) and then turn off every single light in the house. The stupid bugs are usually dead on the bulb by morning. Also, you could buy those sticky strips, bugs really hate those.
You could try taking out the trash . . .

you could light a candle. they hate the smell of candles and it would drive them away plus it adds a romantic ambiance during meals.

I just do it the old fashion way with a fly swatter and start swatting nasty ol'flies.Helps with built up frustration from the day too.How sad.
Keep garbage and trash from around your house. If you have no incentives for them to come, they won't.
Empty trash every day from the houehold, take far away from your doors and windows.
Don't try to catch them close to door or window openings. Invite them, they will come in.
Use fly strips to collect the flys always away from doors. Do not use around food. The chemicals in the glue strip can be absorbed in meats, etc.

i heard the hanging ziplock baggies [[like the quart ones]] full of water on the top of your door frames that lead outside will keep them out. i dunno how it works. i just heard it does. hope this helped. ^_^
don't scatter any sweet particles around the area of your house, they attract more flies compared to fishy smell. most of all keep your surroundings clean flies hate clean area. spray insecticide in your surroundings and maintain a speck and span surrounding.
Flies hate vinegar. just dampen a paper towel with vinegar and unfold it. Then hang it up somewhere in the room. the flies will disappear.
firstly find the reason why they are there, make sure rubbish is not located near the house, take rubbish out everyday, don't leave any take away rubbish around, flies are attracted to things that are rotting, so look around for any food rappers under the bed or any uneaten fruit or fruit going off,and if you have a compost bin make sure it has a lid on it. spray with a mixture of tea tree oil and water in a spray bottle on tiles, and any wet areas in the home, safe for pets and children, one part tea tree oil to 5 parts water.
Flies won't bother you if you keep a few basil plants around the house.
