Dangerous Mold!!?
Question:There is mold growing on the ceiling and walls of my bathroom can it be dangerous? What is the best way to get rid of it and to keep it a way? I clean every two weeks or so but it always comes back. My house is extremely old and I know some times there is a lot of moisture in it. I tried keeping the bathroom window open too.

if it is black mold that's very dangerous, if it is it well cause you headache and nausea,you my need a DEHUMIDIFIER, it will dry things out a little, black mold is very bad stuff it can ruin a home and harm you.at home depot they have this stuff called ZAP mildew and mold cleaner it will help decrees the mold.
Call your local builder's organization to find a person qualified to inspect your home. Some black mold is very dangerous. You can also call your city hall building inspector to ask his advice.

Clean the walls with bleach and water to kill the mold. Keep the bathroom well ventilated while you do so. As long as moisture is a problem, the mold will return. If you can't use a dehumidifier,open the window in there, and keep a fan going to help keep things dry.
YES!! Very dangerous as you are breathing the pores it can cause breathing and lung problems. I suggest painting entire area with Kilz (don't use the cheaper version) as it will seal the stain and cover as well. Try a dehumidifier to dry the area out. Then check around for leaks in the windows/doors and seal them.
