How effective are Dishwashers in India. Given the fact that our food is oily as well as there are steel dishes

Question:We tried the IFB one but it doesnt work. Further is it true that we have to wash the dishes everytime after the meal and it cant be done in one go? PLEASE HELP

Answers:
try different dishwasher detergent... and set your hot water heater higher.

The key to clean dishes coming out of the dishwasher is having enough detergent that is strong enough to cut the grease... and hot water.

I buy my dishwasher detergent by phosphate content. The higher the phosphates, the cleaner the dishes. (and the worse for the environment... eventually they might figure out how to make a decent phosphate-free detergent, but until then... I use what works.)

here is the seal with dishwashers. there is two sides to this.. the ones that are cheep ( they usually have a water tower ) do not clean as well not enough water pressure. so you would have to rise them first before loading them in to the dishwasher. now the more expressive ones do a lot more for your money from sanitize (hot hot water) to a pot and pan cleaner to deep clean. they have two water jets one On the top rack and one on the bottom the difference is around $700. but if that dose not do the trick it might be the dishwasher soap. you can send me an email if you have more questions. tell me what brands you have access to and I can suggest something.
i have a dish washer that cleans all my stainless steel pots it come out all shiny sparkling . if you put aluminum dishes they will go black so best not to put them in the dish washer.
Also remember that the dishwasher has to be filled up so if you are not a large family, you may have to collect the dirty dishes all day until its full. My sister uses a dishwasher in USA as does everyone else over there. I was not at all impressed. You have to rinse the dish before putting it in.
For us in India, its so much easier to employ domestic help, this way we are also contributing to the economy.
