Spray it with hairspray until it is saturated. Blot from both sides with a paper towel. Keep spraing and blotting until it comes out. Then, wash in a normal wash cycle. This works great on cotton and cotton blends. It's best to get it before it's been laundered, but I have gotten it out using that method after it's been through the washer/dryer. I've even gotten out sharpie ink using it.
RIT dye and color remover. Made by the same people that make RIT fabric dye. But only if your pants are colorfast.
Hair spray will do the trick.
