Mr Muscle sink and plughole unblocker, the one in the grey bottle.
Jeyes fluid
i would try some drain cleaner
That's gross.
I hope you're kidding.
boiling water
Fill the sink to the rim with hot water and let it dissolve. As it cools, refill it. Once it gets a little softer, you should be able to remove it with a bottle brush.
crikey what do you do in the sink to get it that welded in!?
how about a wire coathanger - pierce a small hole and dig till it gets bigger
Jackhammer
hot water solution, or a weak acid i guess?
Mr muscle sink and drain unblocker - my 5 year old put toilet paper and soap down our plugholes trying to make mashed potato!
It worked a treat.
If you have a screwdriver set, you will have an awl with a sharp point, or you may use a small crochet hook to pry the soap and toothpaste UP and OUT! If these items fall into your drain, they may cause a nasty clog.
I think something like Draino (sp?) is your best option, it will eat away whatever's plugged up, and will clear the rest of the drain in the process.
if you was to clean it more often it wouldnt get like it.
Get a hook or piece of wire and scrape out as much as you can. Get a pack of soda crystals and fill the plughole with them then pour down a kettle-full of boiling water. Finish with a little bleach.
you need to soften it then remove it I think - if it's that bad and it goes down into the drain you could end up with a serious blockage. Soften it with very, very hot water first.
What I found useful once was a pair of eyebrow tweezers. You need to make sure they won't fall down the holes (because believe me they can...) so put an elastic band or floss or something through them and keep hold of the other end. It's fiddly but you can clear almost anything with those.
Good luck
a man with a wire coat hanger or a chop stick.
draino should eat away at it and have it clear in no time.
try using caustic soda, but wear rubber gloves and dont spill any onto fabrics etc, it acts like acid. good luck.
I had a real issue with a tub drain because of soap...and my kids...lol. I used draino max and it cleared right up.
I used a bathroom plug hole cleaner i think it was made by domestos . It was really good cleared all the hair and stuff from the bath plughole water runs out much quicker now didn't realise how blocked it was.
