I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I washed them twice in the machine and they still smelt a little, so i came on here and people told me bicarb of soda, so i tried and it worked however you may want to make sure u got it all out cos sometimes my feet feel foamy when they sweat now lol
some people have said freezing bacteria kills it, this is wrong it only makes them dormant boiling them kills them. (but i wouldnt reccoment boiling your shoes)
Kitty litter in a pair of old pantyhose stuffed into the shoes will absorb the odor. But, if they are canvas, they should be able to make a trip thru the washing machine (I've even washed leather shoes in the washer with no problems).
Sprinkle with Bicarbonate of Soda at night, this will neutralise the smell.
i put mine in the washing machine amongst the coloureds!!
plenty of fabreeze & your sorted
put them in the washing machine and put baby powder or bicarbonate of soda in them at night to absorb the smells.
Sprinkle baking soda or baby powder in them.
Don`t wear them!
Can you put them in the washing machine and wash them in cold water and then let them air dry? That may help. You can try a spray deoderant product for shoes, or try order eaters!!
wash them then try that carpet powder stuff you know shake and vac left in them overnight
febreze maybe
Lots of baking soda . But of course if you don't want to do that much work and don't want to step in a pool of powder I would try already used dryer sheets just put them in your shoes overnight while you sleep and there should be some improvement because what it does is the odor soaks into the sheets.
Don't wear them.
Bicarbonate of Soda then some essential t tree oil. it is antibacterial.
wash them in a washing machine, then when you are wearing them everyday get a shoe deodorizer spray to put in them when you get home.
Seriously, double bag them and put them in the deep freeze for about 24 hours, it will kill the bacteria in them that causes the odor and the stink will be gone. My daughter borrowed my shoes, and wore them without socks to work, and they reeked. I threw them into an unheated porch as a last resort because nothing I did got rid of the smell and it worked! Good luck, hope this helped!
Wash them put them in the washing machine.
Use some febreeze and air them outside.
