What is the best way to get the fish smell out of my house?

Question:I love cooking fish for dinner, but the smell lingers! I've tried leaving on the kitchen fan, opening windows and burning candles and scented oils. But it still smells like fish the next day. What can I do?

Answers:
place a bowl of regular or lemon ammonia on counters and leave it for about an hour, you may have to dump and refill but gaurantee it works

Put some lemon juice in you vacuum cleaner bag. When you vaccum it will make your house smell fine.
put out small dishes of vinegar where you cooked and served the fish. They should do the trick in a day or so. Good luck
Well, to be honest. Let it wear it self out! You might get some carpet fresh and put on the floor. The lemon juice is good, but I would try a little vinager instead. You also might try some of that Frebries stuff on your funiture. I know I didn't spell that right, but maybe you know what I'm talking about.
But honestly, it will be gone in a day or two and you want be bother with it until the next time!
Brew some coffee and let it sit. Also, pour some fresh coffee grounds in a plate and let it sit on your kitchen counter overnight. Pour a few ounces of vinegar in a bowl and let it sit. You have to try many different things because fish smell is very stubborn.
Fry some white vinegar in a skillet. The smell will be bad for awhile, but the fish smell will be gone from the home. My grandmother used this method when she had cooked salmon.
