How can I get rid of the mildew smell in my refridgerator?
Question:I have cleaned the entire thing. Including the pan underneath, the rubber seal, under the crispers, and behind it. It smells horrible and makes everything smell bad. Where else could it be?
Answers:
Clean it with vinegar water then keep baking soda in it.
Get a box of baking soda and open the top. It will absorb the bad smell.
put a box of baking soda in it
Get a new one or put an air freshener on the old one
Put an open box of baking soda in there; it obsorbs smells.
Try cleaning it with orange cleaner..air it out for a day or so..then put baking soda fresher for refrigerators in it ..then see what happens.
Put a box of baking soda in it, it sucks up the odor.
:)
empty the fridge, scrub it with something that contains bleach (the worlds best cleaner) wipe it out completely clean and get a nice big box of arm and hammer baking soda, that should do the trick
Take everything out of the fridge.
Spray the inside with FABREEZE
Let is set for a while and wipe it dry
Place Arm & Hammer Baking Soda (open boxes) on each shelf, in each drawer and in the door.
This will make your problems go away.
You need an arm and hammer box of baking soda in your refrigerator. They make special boxes for the refrigerator. Baking soda is a natural odor eliminator.
Wipe it down with bleach water or spray it with that Clorox spray. Wipe it dry then put in the box of baking soda. You can even put a bowl of vinegar in the refrigerator over night.
Had to this many times on rental properties.
YOU COULD HAVE A DEAD RAT UNDER THE FRIDGE, OR YOU CAN TAKE A BOX OF BAKING SODA AND MAKE A THICK PASTE AND TRY TO CLEAN IT OUT AGAIN!!!!!NO ONE WANTS A STINKY FRIDGE.
