How do you dry clothes outside without them getting stiff?

Question:Whenever I dry my clothes outside they get really stiff. I've used liquid fabric softeners but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

Answers:
Ahh this is tricky.just kidding.. use a fabric softner when you wash your clothes.then rinse them one extra time, the soap is what stiffens your laundry...also try and place them where the wind will blow them a little.

if this is happening when its cold add salt to water if its happening all the time cut down on detergent, and softner it happened to me i was using far too much!
I stick mine in the dryer for 2 minutes and they are soft as can be.
1/2 cup of borax in the wash
1 cup of white vinegar in the rinse
I dry my clothes outside, then "fluff them up" in the dryer for a few minutes. And don't use too much liquid fabric softener--too much can acutually shorten the life of your clothing!
