Do you have a good suggestion on how to remove sticker residue, off of a favorite shirt?


Question:I washed my sons favorite dinosaur shirt, without knowning the stickers were still attached to it, now my problem is, the sticker part came off just fine.. but the glue backing stayed on, and I am having a time getting it off.

Rub and Ice Cube on the stain or place in the freezer.
Use a dull knife or Spoon to remove as much as possible.

Sponge the stain with eucakyptus oi, baby oi, or cooking oil unti the stain is loosened. Use a Dull Knife or spoon to remove much as possible.

Rinse Well.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until youve removed as much stain as possible.

Sponge the stain with a laundry presoak (Spot Stain Remover)

Launder accrding to garment label..

WD-40 will remove it and then use some laundry pre-treat on the area before re-laundering the garment. You can also use Dawn dish washing detergent to break down the sticker residue. Then blot some white vinegar on the area to neutralize the soap.
TRY USING RUBBING ALCOHOL
Someone told me dawn dish washing liquid works well since it's suppose to lift out grease.
