Do put shoes in the washing machine?
Question:I mean sneakers and fabric shoes
Answers:
Pefectly safe, even the drier is ok too, just use low heat though.
I do, just put them in a tied up pillow case if they have rubber soles for the dryer.
Lost of people do this, but I think it destroys the material of the shoe/ trainer. When I wash the kid´s trainer´s I wash then in cold water, soak them then add old fashioned soap bar soap, you can buy this in your hardware store, & it´s cheap to buy. Normally it´s in square shape & brown in colour. Just give a good rub with the soap ,leave the soap on for 1/2 free from the water. rinse & more soap if needed, Rinse , then hang outside in the sun, the sun will do the rest of the work buy making your shoes look new again. If you ever need to get your trainer´s or any wet shoes, dried super fast here is a trick to do just that. With normal rice fill the inner sole of your shoes, just enough to cover the bottom. Next put as many old rag´s or cleath clothes inside the shoe, leave in a warm place over night& they will be dry the next day. Try for yourself, you will be surprised. PS, don´t add bleach to your shoes whilst washing , this will only burn the material
Yes. I wash mine with clothes of the same color. White sneakers go in the load with whites, and bleach added. Dark colored sneakers will usually get thrown in with jeans. Tie the laces up tight before washing and then hang on the clothes line to dry.
i do, but i dont put them in the dryer, they will shrink, i lrt them air dry, or put them by a heater vent.
