Can you get a red wine stain out of a cotton cloth without using bleach?

Question:No problem if not but I'd thought I ask just in case. Thanks

Answers:
You could try Oxyclean...technically it's a bleaching agent, but it's not Chlorine bleach and it's a lot milder on clothes. Make a paste and rub it into the stain, let it sit for a while, then rinse, maybe repeat if it helps, then launder as usual.

I got a red wine stain out of carpet with this stuff, so I know it works fairly well. It turned black at first, then disappeared. This was a chemical reaction with the wine.

Yep, you can make a paste of 20 Mule team borax and water, agitate it into the red wine, it will turn blue, add more water & borax, agitate and it will remove the stain in time. You can also use Wine Away which is found in kitchen stores which immediately removes the red wine stain. Some people swear you can remove red wine by applying white wine to it, but I have never had success with this method.
I soaked mine in Oxyclean. You would never know anything had been spilled on it.
no you cant it might shrink
