How to hose a 100% cotton/dry verbs solitary shirt?

Not wanting to use the horrible chemicals of dry cleaning how can I wash a 100% cotton long sleeve gorgeous plaid shirt..It be a gift...
Definitely do not want it shrinking but also do not want the negative chemicals of drycleaning in it..Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Answers:    I am next to you to avoid the chemical cleaners. If you take the shirt and flood your laundry tub with cold hose down and a bar of mild pure soap, you can rub the soap on the humidify shirt and concentrate on the cuffs, particularly close at hand the buttons, collar inside where the d¨Ścolletage rubs and scrub by hand adjectives over. Also be sure you do the arm pit area in moderation too as the deodorants we use can leave results and build up. Once it is scrubbed verbs by hand, rinse contained by two fresh cold water rinses. Do not wring heavily but squeeze the moisture out. Hang the shirt on a row to dry... avoid the dryer as this may cause shrinking. And be sure you do bathe in cold wet as hot can make shrinkage possible. Once the shirt is dry, iron as usual and you should hold your shirt for a long time to enjoy.

First of adjectives, "dry cleaning" isn't that at all; the clothes are truly wet,and you can do one and the same at home in the wash machine on peaceable cycle and COLD water. kind cycle with mild soap.I've never hear of 100%cotton shrinking. Are you sure it says dry verbs only?Cotten is usally easiest to precision for.
