How to organize closet in apartment?

Question:My closet is a disaster. I want to organize it; but can't "install" anything because I rent...any suggestions?? :-\ It's about 2 feet deep...7 feet tall.maybe 10 feet or so across.

First you need to sort. You probably don't wear a lot of what you are trying to store. Donate it to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Stores like Target carry rod drops that allow you to hang 7 pairs of pants or shirts in one row. Try to organize items by color for easier choices. You can also buy plastic drawer boxes for sweaters, hats, purses, etc.
