Why do i still make my bed?
Question:and what is the best pillow? body pillow, memory foam? the goose feather, or super flat one that makes your neck feel "ahh"..
Answers:
Because it's a tidy habit to get into making your bed every day; keeps the house looking neater and all that. The best pillow for me is a feather pillow - I like the way they wear so well and are not springy like foam. However, not a good choice if you have allergies. Keep up the bed making habit, it's a good thing.
Can't help you out on the pillow question, as it's a matter of personal preference -- try them all and see what you prefer.
You still make your bed because climbing in between cool, crisp, clean sheets at the end of the day is one of the true free joys in life.
You keep making the bed because it feels good to get into a bed with sheets that aren't all rumpled up, and to keep dust out of your sheets.
My favorite pillow is the "spa" pillow by serta. It is cushy, but supportive. It has a knit cover and you can buy it at Walmart for about $10. My husband prefers goose down.
My husband sells bedding for a living (so saying this isn't the best thing I could do) but...I have slept on $200.00 (memory foam) pillows and $5.00 (fiber fill) pillows and I would much rather sleep on the $5.00 pillow. To me, the expensive pillows are hard to wash and have a funny smell to them. The cheap ones can be folded and molded any way I want.
As far as making your bed...the first chore I tell parents to teach their child (at age 2-3) is make their bed. My reasoning ~ it teaches respect for their things, it is a somewhat simple task that will improve with practice (making them proud of themselves), and it is consistent/unchanging (we have to do it everyday). I also agree with the people above who say "it just feels good to get in a made bed."
because you are not lazy?
because making your bed becomes a habbit and i use elastic memory foam (they're great)
