How can I clean the scum off a stainless steel kitchen sink?

Question:

Answers:
Simple Green is the best. It comes in concentrate form, so mix it 50/50 with water in a sprayer bottle, spray down your sink and let it sit for a bit. If you can leave it over night, that works great too. Then, just use a scrubby sponge and hot water.

If you spray your sink every night with the Simple Green, it will stay sparkly and clean.

Zep stainless steel cleaner and a mr clean magic eraser. Removes scum and leaves sink shining like new.
I agree with the first answer I clean houses and offices and we use Simple Green it is a natural product and non toxic. Also at times I use straight apple cider vinegar too. When you dry your sink spray some WD40 on a dry cleaning towel to wipe the sink dry. WD40 is a good water repellent.
cameo stainless steel sink cleaner, sold at most dollar stores and wal-mart for under a 1.00...will get out any stains including rust. Also to repel water well and give it a shine, try twinkle in a spray can...it will also leave a shine like brand new! I clean offices, homes, new construction model homes...and during the parade the big show of all the homes we get it shinning show room quality with those two products:)
Why would you let your sink get a build up of scum on it in the first place? I use an SOS pad on mine everytime I finish using the sink. Sometimes I even spray bleach on it too. Then I towel dry it to make it shine.
