How does one remove liquid wood stains from a painted surface?
Question:
Answers:
very very fine sandpaper or steel wool, assuming you seek to preserve the paint underneath. maybe the tiniest bit of comet if that doesn't work. and actually if its still at all wet sprinkle lots of baking soda on it now to soak up as much as possible. even if it doesn't look wet i'll bet this will work at least a little, most paints have some kind of a seal so i could see the stain kind of sitting atop it.
and if you don't like any of those answers get a woodworking book that covers staining. ooh, and theres that book, a consumer protection type book about how to clean anything. can't think of the name but cool book.
