How do you get a sticky film off of your flatware?

Question:I let them soak too long (we're talking days) and even after I wash them and scrub them in hot soapy water, it won't come off. They feel clean until they're dry, and ick! It's still there! Is there something I could soak them in or scrub them with that would remove it? Thanks!

Answers:
Goo-Gone works great with everything and its safe to touch.

yep, Goo-Gone is a miracle in a tin can for stuff like that.
Goo Gone or Goof-Off
Try rubbing alcohol
most of everyone told you (goo-gone ).
