Most Pet stores or Vet Clinics have products to get rid of the smell. One that has worked well for me is Urine - Gone.
mix some vinegar in a bowl with hot water and sponge mop the area...let air dry. No stain, no smell, and CHEAP!
i use white vinegar. and it does not leave a stain.
Use the product Urine Gone!. It's enzymes literally eat the urine out of carpets and off of walls or anywhere else it is needed. It has a pleasant smell unlike most of the products on the market to get rid of urine smells/stains. This stuff really works!
