Are you sure these are maggots? Maggots are baby flies. This just seems too unusual of a place to lay eggs. Could they perhaps be fruit flys? I would call an extermination company and have them advise you. Something icky must be in your pipes for them to be drawn to it. First try Draino, and if that doesn't do it, call a plumber to see what's in your pipes attracting them. Then the exterminators.

i really think Drano would get the job done. in the past i have had some SICKLY CLOGGED drain pipes, god knows what was piled up in there, and that Drano would always clear them right out. its basically like an acid that tears up everything except your pipes.

i'd give that a try before anything else.
good luck.
ew! gross! how did you get maggots in your sink drain?! and i would have done all those thing you did (boiling water, bleach, pinesol), but maybe you should try a drain clearing solution like draino (spelling?) or something. gross! i hope you get rid of those nasties soon!
First, I am puzzled as to the maggots being in your sink drain to start with. Number one: the creation of maggots is from flies that lay eggs on a piece of food or some biological waste. Number two: for them to be visible from the top of the sink, it would have to be close to the drain top itself. You may look into removing the piping under the sink to inspect what the host is for them to appear. The condition has to be right for any animal to survive, so there is something in your drain which supplies this environment. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Your Soldier in Iraq.
You mustn't use your sink much. Use the hot water as much as you can just to keep them from clinging on.
Flies are laying them some how.Do you have septic or city sewer.try putting Drano down the drain that will clear every thing out.You may have to call the landlord or maybe city to see if the sewer is draining right...
