Anyone know how to wash off milkstone?

Question:we have a milk cow and some of our jars seem to be getting a dull buildup on them. I can't seem to get it off and have even tried using vinegar. it only shows up when the jar gets steamy when I'm sterilizing. I'm going to buy a special dairy wash but need to do something in the meantime.

I would try to get an organic calcium remover. I don't think that you would want to use something like CLR or lime away. Hope you luck on this.
