Which one is effective oxy-clean or chlorine?
Question:so wich takes stains away much better, and is worth it. :) thanks tell me as much as you can :)

Chlorine whitens and cleans deeper, but it will wear out clothing faster, also it's dangerous chemical if you ever accidentally mix it with Ammonia and dangerous to children. Oxy-clean is less chemically abrasive and cleans things that are more soluble, but don't a deep cleaner, more watered down and nowhere near as dangerous and clothing will last longer, but you might not get every stain removed. So just SHOUT it out when you get mad! LOL

Chlorine takes away stains better, but it can only be used for white clothes. OxyClean is better for organic stains on colored clothes.
it depends upon how long you want the clothes to last.. and what kind of stain.. Bleach will make clothes whiter for a while then it turns them more yellowish or eats them to the point where they tear more easily or fall apart.. oxyclean is safer and can be used to remove most organic/protein based stains and does not eat the clothing or affect the dyes as readily.
That works better than the other bleach substitutes tha I have seen.
2me ithink da oxy-clean is better..actually chlorine is also good in cleaning but is has effect..
Chlorine goes in your swimming pool, oxy clean is good for some stains, prolonged use of Clorox will eat up your clothes--buy a laundry detergent with Clorox 2 in it. Then use a bottle of spray and wash it is good on all fabrics and most stains and won't harm your clothes. I use the oxy on the floor.
I have Oxy-clean, bleach and Biz in my laundry room arsenal along with Spray & Wash stain sticks and white vinegar. It just depends on the specific stain.
Bleach works on white clothes, but it also damages the fibers, causing anything from small holes to eventual yellowing and the far worse total destruction. The elastic in lingerie will be ruined day one.
Oxy-Clean and Biz are great on organic stains (oil, grass, spaghetti sauce) for both colors and whites. Both are effective odor removers as well. Consumer Reports rated Oxy-clean better than all other types of stain removers, but I like to soak clothes in Biz overnight to remove all over stains rather than time consuming spot cleaning.

oxy clean does better. you can sprayit on to clothes and it will not harm it. they have a spot spray and powder for the laundry tank.to where the chlorine is a soap additive to whiten clothes. oxy clean is all purpose for other chores.
