Does anyone else love washing clothes, but absolutley hate folding?
Question:Argh!!
Answers:
Me too! My clean clothes used to get dumped on the guest room bed, where our cat loved to curl up and distribute fur.
I got much better about immediate folding and hanging when I put up a hanger bar in the laundry room, and also made sure to keep everything off the dryer so I would have room to fold.
Also, I started doing laundry Friday - Monday. Plenty of time to get it done, and I get three days off. To keep everything moving on schedule, I need to get the clean clothes folded or hung and put away.
One last thing; keep you hands moisturized. It just feels awful to fold warm, dry fabric when your skin is dry!
I don't mind washing clothes at all, I like making all the things clean and smell good. I hate folding and I especially hate putting clothes away... thats why right now my room is full of baskets of clean laundry that I should be folding instead of on FindHomeAnswers.
well i certainly enjoy washing more than folding and putting up clothes!
My house is so tiny that I have to put every thing away immediately, but I found that organization helps. In Austin, I had room to store sheets, towels clothes and bedspreads and it made it much easier.
Yes. I love the smell of clean clothes, so washing is no problem, but I hate folding and I really really hate putting clothes away.. I have baskets of clean clothes everywhere!!
I don't mind washing, drying or folding, but for some reason I HATE putting away. I will have clean laundry in baskets for weeks. I am just not an organized person and when I try to organize my room/closet/dresser I get so overwhelmed!
MY HUSBAND!! He'll do me a "favor" by washing all of the laundry but he refuses to fold anything. He'll leave it all piled on the sofa. By the time I get home to fold them, they're all wrinkled and it takes me an hour to fold it all!
Yep, me too. I really enjoy washing clothes, the whole thing from sorting them and getting the machine going, right through to pegging them on the line and watching them blow in the breeze.
If only there was a machine that could get them in, fold them, and put them away!
Maybe one day ... *sigh*
Folding is the worst!! I guess it's because youcan't just throw your "DRY" clothes in their places, but you can throw, cram, stack and forget about clothes you throw in the washer.plus the washer washes the clothes and does it's job..the dryer dries, but it seems incomplete if it can't finish up for us!!:_)
I like both, what I do hate is ironing and putting away.
I don't mind the folding as much as I mind putting them away, and hanging the garments that need to be in the closet.
I hate doing laundary all together.. the putting in the washer isn't bad, but moving to dryer, then folding and putting away part is almost not worth it..
our clothes make it to the dryer and that is where they stay until we need to wash again!
