EKKK!! i got super glue on my wedding rings?
Question:is there any tips to get it off or will i have to wait for my natural oils from my hands to eventually wear the super glue off. i would like a quick tip to remove the stuff off of these rings with out damaging the rings themselves.
Answers:
Use, Nail polish remover, dab it on until the glue has been removed, once removed wash ring in a little dishwashing detergent and rinse with warm water then dry with a soft cloth being careful not to rub hard on any diamonds and be very careful not to get this polish remover on the diamonds it can damage diamonds. Good Luck !
i think goof off might work, you would have to try it, or maybe super hot water...
Well, I would suggest acetone nail polish remove BUT I don't know how that would react with the metal.
Call the jeweler.
put some paint stripper on your ring
Finger nail polish remover will work on superglue. It contains acetone. It won't harm the metal.
Nail polish remover , just wipe it on them don't let it sit in it.
Well take take them to a jeweler and get them replaced or renewed.
finger nail polish remover,i dont know if this will damage your rings
rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover
Try using some nail polish remover this should work with out damaging your rings but you might have to take the chance
goof off will work i think but also you can try leaving it wrapped in a paper towel soaked in ammonia. just leave it in a well ventilated area.
i think you need to get the rings off
because you are meeting your
boy freind?
i would defently say nail polish remover but wipe don't soak i think the ring will be okay as long as you don't soak it
Finger nail polish remover that has acetone in it will remove the glue . try rubbing some one with a soft cloth and then after glue is removed clean really well with soap and water .
If it was me I would take the rings to your jeweler they will know how to get the super glue off.
Whatever you do - DON'T scrape it off!!!
Try a solvent like Lacquer thinner.if that does not work, then
Take it to the jeweler for safe removal.
