Accidentally flushed a copper Chore Boy scratcher pad will it pass thru to the sewer main or rust away?

Question:Like how fish hooks do when the fish swallows the hook? Toilets working fine now

Answers:
Barry,

Is this a guy thing to clean your toilet with a copper Chore Boy?

You really, really need to go to Target. That could really damage the porcelain.

In the meantime, don't worry about it. If it got caught in the trap you would be swimming by now when the toilet backed up.

Copper Chore Boys don't rust, but get darker and smaller and eventually disintegrate.

It will pass through and eventually dissolve.
If the toilets working fine, I would say you are okay. My neighbors actually had Roto Rooter out to unclog their problem,it was a female sanitary pad. Chore Boys have holes in that mesh metal so the water should flow right through. I think you'll be fine. It might rust but I won't tell if you don't. :-)
Copper doesn't rust.
If your toilet's flow is the same , you should be okay
You can only HOPE it will pass--or rust away! If you start to experience problems with the water flow, get a "snake" (you can usually rent them) and work it down the drain. Then, get a litter box for those furballs, and try the ChoreBoy on the cat's *ss, that should solve that problem under the dresser. . . .
