Question:
Answers:
get wax paper lay it over the wax on the cloth
lay a towel over the wax paper
heat up your clothes iron
slide the iron over the towel
this should bring the wax out
Ice works. Put the cloth in the freezer, wax side up. After one hour, the was should come off easily. If not return it to the freezer again.
Heat up your iron... and place a damp cloth/paper towel over the wax. Then, iron the REVERSE side of the table cloth. Slowly, the wax will come off ont he damp cloth.
I've tried this & it works. Goodluck!
use two pieces of thin parchment paper and slip the linen between then use steam from the iron and press lightly, when removed it might leave a stain so the best thing is to use is several tea bags in the washer and wash it in hot water, it leaves a nice off white tint!
the ice thing is good for the bulk wax..but when you've got residue, any petroleum distillate will work...turpentine, which stinks, WD40 which also stinks, and others..even nail polish remover, and it stinks too..gotta be patient, and wash at least 2 times when done..be patient, it takes time...
USE AN IRON AND A PIECE OF PAPER. PLACE THE PAPER OVER THE DRIED WAX STAIN AND THEN IRON OVER IT. THE WAX WILL THEN MELT INTO THE PAPER.
Place a few drops of eucalyptus oil on the stain and leave for a few minutes, and then wash. Repeat a few times if necessary. Wipe with methylated spirits at the end.
Do not Iron the wax, It will heat up more, leave a bigger grease stain and will be even harder to get off because you are smooshing it in further.
