What is the best way to get mold out of clothes?

I recently had a box of my older son's clothes in my crawlspace and when I went to get them for him, the entire box was damp and moldy, it even looked like some of the stuff had roots on them! I washed them in regular laundry detergent first, and what didn't disintegrate (yes, mold rots clothes), I rewashed with both 20 Mule Team Borax AND Clorox 2 (color safe bleach) or regular bleach if it was a light colored item along with the laundry detergent. I ended up throwing them all away and buying him new stuff. Although it looked like most of the mold was gone, it still smelled funky which means it still has reproducing mold cells. Toss 'em kiddo! Not worth the hassle!
squeeze lemon juice onto the mark, fresh is best, and leave in the sun (if there is any) wash and repeat if necessary. Otherwise, I think there is a mildew remover in the stain remover range.
mold stain is permanent - you prolly have to dump those clothes
mold?? ummm is it stains or just like mildew kind of stuff
if its actuall mold i dont know
if its just a mildew smell kind of thing
hot hot water, and (if its able) bleach
put them in the bin! YUK!!
You could try a nappy soaker, like NappiSan or something similar. Make it a little stronger than the recommended amount, and use warm water if the clothes won't shrink in it, then soak them overnight. If that won't shift the stain, probably nothing will.
Good luck! :-)
gross
I would put them in the trash and say good-bye
