How do i clean dust buildup on plastic plants ?
Question:
Answers:
put them in the garden and spray water thoroughly over them and then let it dry up or shake off the excess water! If you are not satisfied with this, use paper towels to wipe away the leaves one by one and you will see you have a brand new plant - really !
all i do is use some water or like a swifer wipe, or a vacuum. and clean the plant, the swifer wipe works well.
I put mine in the shower and rinse them off or sometimes I vacuum them off.
Mix a small amount of detergent in a spray bottle and spray the plant generously with the mix, then rinse them off under the hose or shower and leave to dry thoroughly.
To really make them look nice, when they are dry, get a dry, soft cloth (like a clean tea towel for instance) and give the leaves a polish with a spray furniture polish such as Mr Sheen. Not too much ~ just a little, to give the leaves a nice shine.
Good luck :-)
Mine go in the bathtub, i have a hose that can be connected to my shower head and i spray them clean. fast easy and cheap.
Easy off oven cleaner! You wont know until you try it! It will cut right through the dust just remember to open a window.
rinse them in the sink
if they are large then take outside tip to the side and spray with a hose
