have you tried hydrogene peroxide? this always works on removing any type of blood stains. just pour it on the stain and let it bubble up and do its work then just wash the spot of with some water.

Use Stain Devils. They usually have them in the grocery store in the laundry aisle in little yellow bottles. Follow the directions. If it's already gone through the dryer, you might be outta luck. I have also had success by soaking in a sink full of cold water and OxyClean overnight.
Dab the spot with the dried blood with water and rub some salt into it. Then wash it in water. The blood should come off.

Spray area with diluted dishwashing soap solution and let it sit before washing.
If the fabric can be placed in water, I recommend using OxyClean. Just fill the sink full and put a measuring cup or two in warm water and let the fabric sit in the water. I like to let it soak for about 15-30 minutes for tough blood stains but it often works pretty quick.
You should be able to see the OxyClean powder working by it forming bubbles where the blood is.
For most stains, I like to use my detergent (Arm & Hammer) and just water it down by about half, then I place it in a little squeeze bottle to use on stains. I just squirt some wherever there is a stain (works on most blood stains) then rub it in with an old toothbrush. I got the idea of the diluted detergent from my mom. I added using the squeeze bottle because it makes it nice and handy. So you have a good stain fighter for a very cheap price.

Cold Water only. Warm or hot water will seal the stain in.
