Answers:
white vinegar and lemon juice...xxx
The product I use because of calcium deposits in the water is "CLR", which you can purchase at Walmart, Lowe's.
A decent creme cleaner and a pot scourer - and plenty of doing it now and again until its all gone.
take the nozzle part off and let the parts rest in vinegar. the acetic acid in the vinegar will soften and dissolve the calcium (lime).
pour a 1/3 bottle of white vinegar into a sandwich bag dilute slightly push the bag onto the end of nossle is in the soloution a nd secure with a elastic band and leave for about 1/2 an hour to a hour keep a eye on it depending on how bad limescale is and them remove just rinse off and wipe dry look at the lovely shine on tap also
I use lime away because it takes less rubbing than things you can put together at home and it is cheap. You have really good control with dilution.
I used it at my business also.
Try "The Works". It it pretty strong, so have fan on or a window open. I have tried CLR, but didn't like the results. ;)
CLR is the best product ever! If you have a lot of limescale you may have to use it more than once, but it really works! You can buy it all over, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart etc.
I use vinegar and salt, works perfectly.
Try with Viakal,
The best thing I found is "LimeAway". It works very well and only takes a few minutes. You can dip your shower head in it too to get rid of build up inside the holes. Good Luck!!
Ditto on the vinegar. Limescale is alkaline and vinegar is acidic, so together they will neutralize each other.
get an old toothbrush, hot water and some vinger with a bit of salt, rub where you need to rub with the toothbrush,it should do the trick.
