Thought id share that wiv ya coz I thought it was weird!

Answers:
I think they are coming indoors because of the rain - I've been catching loads around our house these past few weeks. I have little jars with lids all over the house to catch them, then take them outside to the end of the garden which they can eat the creepy crawlies or provide a tasty snack for a blue tit.
By the way - we live by the glass centre area of the Midlands - it is not recommended that you store glasses on their rims - it weakens them, so the boffins up here say.

ill be checking all my cups now!
Nae problem. Did you know that many spiders visit you in your sleep and drink your saliva from the edge of your mouth. Spiders get everywhere. I would be more concerned if I found a rat or mouse or cockroach in the cupboard.
Looks like the cups have being lying there for a long time.
Spiders like cosy places.

Next time put cups/glasses upside down.
He probably just wanted a coffee!!
well, you cleaned that glass properly...and to prevent this from happening again, place the glasses on your cupboard upside-down
Katy, if you think that was weird you need to get out more.

Isn't that a perfectly normal thing to happen in life ?

If the spider was playing banjo in the style of Navarna, that would be weird.
