I agree with the vinegar answers, after you clean it off with the vinegar take a dry cleaning towel spray some WD40 on it wipe it dry. WD40 is a good water repellent. Also after every time you use the shower, rinse and wipe it dry you would never have water spots on the shower door.

Ocaasionally using rainx on the door will keep it spot free, also you can use fine grit car wax.
