Ovenu, Ovenclean, Cookerburra, Any good? And how much?
Question:My oven is a mess, I'm embarrassed every time I open the door, but I hate cleaning and this stands at about 1000 on my list of things I want to do. Now there are plenty of adverts for companies that will come round and 'professionally clean' your oven. But they all have one thing in common, they never mention how much it costs. So my question is, if you've used this service, who did you use, how good a job did they do and how much did it cost you. By the way, I have a bog standard built in double oven. Thanks.

Buy a product called Oven Pride from your supermarket. You get a special bag to put your oven shelves in along with a cleaning agent - leave it overnight and they come out like new (honestly). You wipe the oven down with the same cleaning agent. It works like magic and I think it only costs about £7
Dont waste your money having it professionally cleaned. This product is fab!
Do not use a product called oven muscle as i blew up my electric oven as have two of my mates. but the oven was lovely and clean. Or should i say read the label and they really mean don't spray the elements. maybe put a protector over the elements or i suppose you OK with Gas >I would check with your oven manufacturer. guess i was a bit late when put the stew on and the whole thing blew up, Partner said to me stop cleaning you costing to much, Also cleaned micro with it and it was scary seeing all the sparks fly out never mind we got over it i can laugh now. but my mates fireman said lucky she was in when she turned hers on and went on fire. up 2 you??Just take care
