Ughh. How do I clean dog feces stain out of my beige carpet?
Question:My elderly dog lost control and first thing this morning I've got to clean up (after my coffee, though).

The faster you can get it up the better! Pick up as much of the "solids" as you can with a paper towel. I like the Dollar General foaming carpet cleanser but any similar will prob work just fine. Then let dry a little bit. Next, you need to treat with some kind of product designed for pet stains and odors. The odor of urine/feces will remain even after we can't smell it. The dog may try to mark over it later b/c he can still smell it. GOOD LUCK!
Try OxyClean. I was cat sitting for a friend several years ago and it had thrown up on the friend's white carpet. I called a mutual friend who put me onto OxyClean and sure enough, it took the entire stain out of that white carpet. You'd never know the cat every threw up.
I've used Fantastik Oxy Power on my carpets for my pet stains. I haven't had to use it for the same kind of stain as you (knock on wood, don't want to jinx myself) but my dogs have been sick a few times and it took the stains right out. There's also another product I use that's really good, Orange Apeel. It's great for pets and I also use it around the house.
