What happens when you put a pillow in the dryer?

Question:Does such an act usually damage the pillow in any way. I'm talking about drying it at high heat.

Answers:
I always wash my pillows in my machine and dry them in the dryer. However I put a rubber ball in there with them. It helps keep the foam in shape and keeps it from balling up. Helps it keep its shape. It works quite well if you can stand the sound of "thump, thump, thump" for awhile. lol

It gets fluffier like a new pillow! I always dry mine @ high heat and they come out beautiful!!
it dries, get a life
From personal experience if the pillow is feathered, the feathers might stick together making the pillow look kinda gross. High heat might be a bad idea again if it's feathered. I would take it to the dry cleaners, just to be safe.

Good luck
When you put a pillow in the dryer it comes out fluffier and the heat from the dryer will kill any bacteria on the pillow.
