How can you clean patio slabs without using chemicals.?
Question:My patio slabs are covered in green slimey moss. How can you clean them effectively without using anything harmful.
Answers:
White distilled vinegar is great for things like this. You can use it in a pressure washer, or just mix it with some water (50% vinegar, 50%water) and scrub the patio slabs with a deck brush. Then rinse.
use a jet wash on them
you can use a jet wash with just normal water or a stiff yard brush with water.
Rent a pressure washer.
I would recommend a jet wash, very powerful and doesn't take to long!
Either get a a huge britol push broom and some vinger and baking soda and scrub then rinse with a hose.

Its as simple as this. A jet wash will do the trick.

Rent or buy an electric pressure washer. They work great with just plain water.
Use a pressure washer to blast away the moss. Then make a strong solution of Jeyes Fluid in water, and brush them down with a yard brush to disinfect the slabs. Wash off after half an hour with a hose pipe. Hope this helps - wear Wellingtons because it's a messy job!
