Should I re-wash my laundry?
Question:So yesterday at about 4PM, I put my clothes in the washer with detergent and turned it on. Then right away I left for the party I had to go to, and didn't come home until 2AM and went right to bed. It's not 10:30AM, and I left the clothes in the washer since yesterday, and they smell bad because I guess when you leave them like that they just start to.
Should I re-wash those clothes with detergent and turn the washing maching on?
Answers:
Yes..just add a little detergent and run them again...we do that all the time at my house LOL
Yes, you should run it again. Your clothes prob smell like mildew.
Run it again. You could try 1/4 cup of white vinegar added to the load to remove the sour smell.
yes you should rewash them. the wet clothes accumulated mildew, and that's not good for your clothing.
I would just put them through the rinse cycle again that should do the trick
First of all, it's not very smart to go away with your washer running. Yes, rewash the clothing & add some liquid fabric softener to your rinse cycle, & stay home. Never go away & leave any appliance running. You're only asking for trouble..
Yep. I would re-wash them. They probly smell like mouldy water. You dont want to wear clothes that smell like that do you!?
Yes, rewash them on a short cycle with a small amount of detergent because the clothes started to mildew.
Run it again, you won't get that mildewy smell out without re-washing. Throw a little bit of white vinegar in the wash and that will help with the odor. I have three kids, and I am always running around. I leave laundry sitting all the time, lol.
Rewash with a tiny bit of detergent and about a cup of baking soda. Smell is from bacteria and drying them without rewashing will not get the smell out.
Yes, you should rewash them. Add 1/4- 1/2 cup white vinegar to the wash. The smell is mildew, so you need to use more than just a deodorizer or something to cover the smell. You need something that kills mildew, which vinegar does. Vinegar is also a deodorizer and is inexpensive.
