What happens when you put a feather pillow in the dryer on really high heat?

Question:Will it damage the pillow? If so, what will it look like?

Answers:
I wash my feather pillows and dry them on high heat, it hasn't hurt mine any. It actually makes them all fluffly like brand new again.

i've washed mine in high heat as well and they're fine not ruined or anything, although once i put one pillow and it shrunk but i think thats because it was a cheap pillow.... try it good luck whats the worst that can happen?
I do it all of the time, too. I suggest putting in some clean tennis balls to increase the loft and keep the pillow from folding in half with the feathers accumulated at each end. The balls keep the feathers in the pillow moving which lessens drying time, too.
I clean all my Feather pillows in the dryer on high heat. The heat kills the germs and fluffs up the pillows. Using the dryer is the best thing to us when drying feather pillows because it takes forever for them to dry out when they are just hung up.
Nothing will happen to it. Throw in a bounce sheet, and it will smell wonderful too.
