Try one of those "Shout!" brand laundry pens.
Try shaving cream. Sounds weird but it worked when I spilled grape juice on my carpet.
Pour some club soda on the stain & use paper towels to blot it up.
You can try Hydrogen Peroxide..(ONLY IF CARPET IS LIGHT IN COLOR BECAUSE PEROXIDE CAN HAVE A BLEACHING EFFECT)...Mix 1 tbs with 3 tbs warm (not hot) water. Apply to stain, let it sit for 30 min. After applying Peroxide, cover with a thick towel to block light. Light transforms the properties of the peroxide. Check the stain periodically. Watch for loss of color. Rinse by applying water without soaking the carpet. Vacuum or blot up the excess.
