Place the stain face down on paper towels and go over the back with full strength liquid detergent or drycleaning solvent, using a clean white cloth. Mechanics hand cleaners may also be used to remove the spot, then launder as usual.
Try "Preen ultra grease lift" prewash spray
Hand dishwashing soap is really good for getting out greasy stains... it's made to be gentle but cut grease.
Zout stain spray is amazing, too. I've been using it for a year, and I haven't had to turn a single shirt into a cleaning cloth due to stains!
Get some Lestoil - put it on the spot and wash - depending on the spot you may have to soak it for awhile first. Should come out - I've gotten stuff out even after it's been in the dryer using that stuff.
I like the Shout Stick or Spray and Wash. They work really well on stains that have sat for a few days. Just use the product, let it set for 15 minutes or so and then wash.
Good luck!
Put a dab of detergent directly on the stain and scrub it in and let sit for a bit. Wash--DON'T dry unless the stain is gone. If there is still a spot, treat and wash again. If you dry it, the stain will set in.
Use Tide directly on the spot and let it sit for a few minutes, then wash as usual.
I use "shout" in the rub on container and let it set for awhile. Works for me.
The best thing I have found to remove stains is Oxi Clean laundry stain remover in the spray bottle, it works great, it's all I use now!
