Do magnets harm stainless steels fridgerators?
Question:I left some magnets on my stainless steel fridge and now there is a dicoloration. Is this permanent? Should I not keep magnets on there in the future?

I didn't think magnets would hurt a stainless steel refrigerator. Buy a can of stainless steel appliance cleaner & see if it removes the discoloration. If so, then you can put the magnets back on in the future.
My kid´s have my stainless steal fridge covered with them, When I clean the outside of the fridge I never have any mark´s . Might need to change the product you use for cleaning your fridge
Hi,try wiping the spots with Lemon Oil. They'll do a disappearing act with one swipe.Also Magnets won't stick to true stainless steel ,It's probably just has a Stainless Steel skin on it. Use Lemon Oil on your shower door also,it'll take the soap scum and hard water deposits off of it.Bye
