Can putting a T Pass through the washing machine ruin it, or make it unusable at the turnstyle?
Question:This is a plastic card issued from the transit authority in Boston that has my monthly pass on it - which would cost $60 to replace! I believe it works through some kind of magnetic system? I'm super blown. Any help?

depends on if the magnetic strip was sratched badly-usely not a problem
but if so you can take it to the issuing office and explain what happened and they'll more than likely replace it at little or no charge
