Candel Wax on carpet and t.v. speaker?
Question:Recently spilled candel wax on the carpet and it also got onto the speaker of the t.v. any ideas of how to get it out besides ice and the iron?

take a warm iron (not hot, you don't want to burn) and a clean white cloth, press cloth onto wax and hold iron until it melts enough to blot up. or freeze and pick, pick
no other ideas work
sorry but those are the only 2 ways I know of. If you use the iron, keep in mind most carpet is synthetic plastic fibers and will melt very easily if the iron is too hot. I'd use the iron on the carpet and an ice pack on the speaker. Any chemical strong enough to dissolve the wax will probably dissolve the carpet along with it.
