Remove glue from eye glass lens?

Question:Does anyone know how to remove super glue from eye glass lens? I've tried alcohol. Any other suggestions? It's driving me nuts.

Answers:
If the lens is glass and not plastic, try nail polish remover on a small piece of cloth, don't apply too much, less is better, then rinse with soap and cool water.

Try putting them in the freezer and then use something plastic to pick it off so you don't scratch the lens.
Acetone is the solvent used in super glue. If they are glass lenses, you are OK. If they are plastic or acrylic lenses, you need new glasses.
id just call the eye doctor and ask. maybe hes not to good to help you out for no charge., good luck
i used nail polish remover when i got super glue on mine. takes a little while but it worked.
